As a matter of fact I did! First job at a recording studio...tuning for the pros! Tuned a 1963 Steinway at Kalinga Production Studios in Maplewood. Very interesting place. Piano tuned up as close to perfect as you can get...within 1/2¢ on A1-A5. That is very close in piano tuning world.
The studio and the sound engineer were both very interesting. Ryan was working on a 1970s Leslie speaker with vacuum tubes and ancient motors that needed replacing. Leslie speakers have a rotating drum at the bottom and a couple rotating horns at the top. A unique sound, hooked up to an old organ. Very cool.
